With 3 basements, Ground floor and 87 floors of space, the fire detection within the Shard is the highest in Western Europe. Whilst this meant that significant issues had to be overcome in the installation from the logistics of moving equipment, materials and plant, to ensuring that operatives safety was maintained through-out the works, we are pleased to be associated with the following services:

We have recently been awarded the extension of the Landlords Maintenance Contract for the Fire, PAVA and Fire Telephone/ Disabled Refuge and Disabled Toilet Alarms, providing coverage 7 days a week with a permanent engineer based on site. Currently there are 90 Advanced Fire Alarm Panels on the Shard and 56 Baldwin Boxall PAVA racks.
